We are excited to announce our board!

Our board members were carefully selected with intention, all touching on the broad spectrum of identities that reflect some of the population we are dedicated to serving.

 

Jordi [they/she]

Secretary

Jordiana is a Black queer gender creative individual.  Jordi’s 20+ year study of theatre and emotion have guided them into the role of facilitation specifically in local organizing out of what is known as Los Angeles.  They have guided meditation, ceremony, libation, and healing with BLM, Headspace, Dignity and Power Now, Stop LAPD Spying Coalition, and most recently Familia TQLM.  In the past 2 years Jordi has started organizing healing retreats, developing pre-colonial spiritual informed curriculum, and adapting to a more digital based healing art practice. 


Timothy Leslie [he/him]

Treasurer

Tim has worked in the field of mental health for close to 13 years. During this time he's provided support to all types of people with varying concerns ranging from trauma to restoring creativity. Currently Tim is an adjunct professor at two universities and also provides mental health therapy/trainings for three different organizations.


Nila Varman (she/her)

Nila Varman (She/Her) is a 20-year-old student from the UK and the host of the Nila Extract Radio show. Nila's personal battles she's fought over the years led her to strive for better education on pressing issues such as race, mental health, body image, LGBTQ, climate change and racial discrimination. Thus, through her educational platform and radio show, she explores various societal issues that are not spoken about as much as they should be and are often relegated to taboos from, her Tamil South Indian upbringing, not feeling Indian enough, caste-based discrimination and body image to climate change, sex education and LGBTQ+ allyship. Nila has these insightful conversations with herself and with various guests to dispel stereotypes and help provide those without a platform a place to be heard.


Jessica Drake [she/her]

Named 2017’s Sexpert of the Year by XBiz, trained by San Francisco Sex Information (SFSI), and a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), Jessica brings a wealth of expertise to her speaking engagements.

As an exclusive Wicked Pictures contract performer, writer, director, as well as a global humanitarian and emerging sexual wellness authority, Jessica’s career in popular adult productions led her to create the instructional series “Jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex.”

In her award-winning “Guide to Wicked Sex” videos, Jessica rewrote the narrative on exploring erotic topics through elegantly produced, intimate demonstrations. Each volume addresses a different aspect of human sexuality, which is explored with a distinct blend of knowledge, experience, and good humor – a refreshing alternative for the sexual self-help genre.


Goddess Cecilia [she/her]

Cecilia Villero, aka Goddess Cecilia, is a Filipina Pleasure Educator, Advocate and Consultant who believes that even though 95% of the ocean remains unexplored, your pleasure doesn’t have to be. She truly believes that we are Mer-Made for Pleasure, even though the traumas and injustices of this world try to disconnect us from our inner joy and curiosity. She hosts the Raw Bar podcast and Dive Deeper YouTube series, both of which encourage dialogue about various sexuality topics. In addition to creating opportunities for people to explore their sexual sovereignty and practice their pleasure, Cecilia is also a Survivor Speaker for the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, a forever Middle Eastern/North African (MENA) dance student, and mother to a tortoiseshell cat and Leo Sun preschooler, .
